Summary : Seeking an Inspector I to perform quality inspections, interpret blueprints, and ensure compliance with specifications.
Job Requirements :
1 years of relevant work experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training a plus.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications.
Proficiency in using mechanical and electrical measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, snap gauges, etc.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of fractions, decimals, and trigonometry for determining dimensions from blueprints.
Experience with magnifiers, electronic instruments, and special fixtures for inspection tasks.
Capability to develop alternative methods for achieving consistent quality.
Job Responsibilities :
Perform critical first-piece inspections and authorize production commencement.
Sort materials and mark defects for repair as needed.
Verify calibration of inspection tools against standards regularly.
Conduct inspections that may require measurement to close tolerances.
Additional Information :
This is a swing shift position from 2 : 30 PM - 11 PM (Monday-Friday).
Two positions are available starting ASAP.
Pay Details : $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
