Summary: Seeking an experienced Controller to manage financial operations, develop team culture, and enhance accounting processes in a hybrid work setting.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen eligible to obtain Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 10 years of related accounting experience with 5 years supervisory/managerial experience
• 5 years manufacturing experience
• Experience in managing and developing the Finance & Accounting function within an Engineering/R&D environment
• Ability to support ongoing multi-year contracts and participate in upgrading existing ERP
• Responsibility for month-end close and financial reporting function
• Experience with Oracle ERP system
• Eligibility to obtain any required Export Authorization

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Cost accounting and finance management
• Thorough understanding of general accounting theory, concepts, practices including U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards
• Past experience with Project Cost Accounting and operating using IFRS Standards
• Proficiency in MS Office skills with expert-level knowledge in financial reporting systems (Great Plains, Deltek, Visibility or Epicor a plus)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the Finance & Accounting function within an Engineering/R&D environment
• Support ongoing multi-year contracts and participate in upgrading existing ERP
• Deliver accurate financial reports within deadlines through automated process as much as possible.
• Enhance efficiency of the Accounting department by establishing procedures, controls, and effective use of reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance by monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Support VP of Finance in preparing the 5 Year Strategic Plan.
• Continuously improve the Company?s financial controls and reporting systems according to Corporate Policies, laws, guidelines and regulations.
• Develop, train, appraise, motivate the team within the Accounting Department.
