Summary : Seeking a CNC Machinist experienced in Y-Axis Lathe operations for precision manufacturing in the aerospace and power generation sectors, with ability to work 2nd / 3rd shift including overtime as required.

Requirements :

U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status

Experience in set-up and operation of multi-axis CNC machinery (3-axis lathes minimum)

High School Graduate or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred

Proficient in reading complex drawings with GD&T knowledge

Manual inspection skills for parts produced

Preferred Skills :

4 / 5 axis horizontal mills and pallet-line experience

G-code proficiency

CNC programming capabilities

Familiarity with low volume, high mix production

Responsibilities :

Interpret blueprints, shop travelers, and sketches for machining / fabrication

Conduct part inspections to specifications and document results

Install fixtures and set work offsets for operations

Prepare and set tools using an offline tool pre-setter

Diagnose deviations / trends and adjust machine offsets accordingly

Communicate machinery, tooling, or quality issues to supervisor

Operate multiple machine centers as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned

Note : Initial training on first shift; option to work 2nd shift (2pm - 12 : 30am) or 3rd shift (3pm - 1 : 30am) thereafter.

Potential overtime compensation structure under approval.

Pay : 25-30

Pay Details : $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
