Overview

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Director of Information Security to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Director of Information Security will be responsible for defining the company's IT security strategy and executing on the strategic and process-based activities. This role will work directly with the CIO to implement and manage security infrastructure and to provide regular status / service-level reports to management.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience at a publicly traded organization, especially in relation to SOX compliance, previous experience developing cybersecurity processes, and a history of team development. 

*Must have Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credentials.*

This position is located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the IT security team
• Develop a security program and security projects that address identified risks and business security requirements
• Manage the process of gathering, analyzing, and assessing the current and future threat landscape; provide department management with a realistic overview of risks and threats in the enterprise environment
• Maintain a knowledgebase comprising a technical reference library, security advisories and alerts, information on security trends and practices, and laws and regulations
• Manage the day-to-day activities of threat and vulnerability management, identify risk tolerances, recommend treatment plans and communicate information about residual risk
• Manage security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects
• Assist and guide the disaster recovery planning team in the selection of recovery strategies and the development, testing and maintenance of disaster recovery plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems OR equivalent work experience is required.
  • Master's degree in information security is preferred.
• Must have 7 years of demonstrated IT experience
• Must have 5 years of experience in an information security role
• Must have 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Must have Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credentials.
• Must have demonstrated experience with common information security management frameworks, and familiarity with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, the U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the European Union Privacy Directive.
• Must have demonstrated experience in being proficient with performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments, and in defining treatment strategies.
• Must have demonstrated experience developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans, and a familiarity with the principles of cryptography and cryptanalysis.
• Experience must include application technology testing, such as white box, black box, and code review, as well as system technology security testing.
