Structural Professional Engineer

We are seeking a Structural Professional Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in managing a team of designers and Engineers-in-Training, overseeing engineering calculations, field inspections, reviewing structural designs, and producing designs using AutoCAD. You will collaborate with architects and other professionals to develop structural designs for buildings and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities

• Manage a team of designers and Engineers-in-Training
• Perform engineering calculations and produce structural designs using AutoCAD
• Review and redline structural designs
• Conduct field inspections and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications
• Collaborate with architects and other professionals to develop structural designs
• Coordinate and collaborate among multiple offices to meet project objectives and deadlines
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and employees
• Analyze sketches, notes, and other input material to determine the best approach to complete drawings
• Perform calculations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Master's in Structural Engineering preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with Civil3D a plus
• Two years of structural design engineering experience required
• Strong professional work ethic
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
