Under general supervision, the Fleet Services Mechanic is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to the polyurethane spray foam insulation fleet, production equipment, or other machinery maintained by the Fleet Management Department; performs related duties as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs minor repairs and major maintenance tasks for industry leading provider of polyurethane systems and building application equipment
• Performs scheduled and preventive maintenance on production equipment to include but not limited to: Spray Foam Machines, Diesel Motors, Generators, Compressor Assemblies, Industrial Machinery, Blower Machines, Cargo Systems, Specialized Coating Equipment, Fluid Membrane Systems, Industrial Suspension Systems, Telematic GPS Systems, Industrial Lift Systems, Gas /Air Coating Systems, Polyurethane Systems, Filtration Systems, Electronic Monitoring Systems, etc.
• Troubleshoots various systems and component parts of diesel, gasoline, and electric-powered motors
• Tests equipment to locate and identify problems and to check on repair work prior to returning equipment to active use
• Maintains cleanliness in the industrial work area
• Inspects, adjusts, and replaces carburetors, alternators, starters, and related components and related machinery
• Completes necessary paperwork; utilizing company's latest reporting platform via computer or other devices to enter reports and documentation
• Changes, mounts, dismounts, and balances a variety of accessory devices
• Drives company vehicles and equipment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Three (3) years of experience assisting with mechanical repairs to automotive, custodial, agricultural, or heavy machinery. 

Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
