Recruitment Specialist
The Energy Innovation Center Institute is in search of a mission aligned Recruitment Specialist to join our workforce development team. This position will work in conjunction with the program team to design, plan, organize and monitor the recruitment efforts for all ongoing training programs. The ideal candidate will possess an innate ability to multi-task and to work collaboratively with our team. They should also share our commitment to employing new and innovative ways to achieve program goals and milestones.
The Recruitment Specialist must be equipped to work with a diverse applicant pool while maintaining the program goals and candidate experience. In following the program guidelines, the Recruitment Specialist will oversee the recruiting, scheduling, interviewing and selection of well qualified program participants.
Launched in 2016, the Energy Innovation Center Institute (EICI) provides workforce development training opportunities to underserved, distressed neighborhoods through corporate partnerships that provide concrete pathways for underserved, unemployed, and underemployed residents to obtain jobs with sustainable wages. The Recruitment Specialist will join a diverse team of individuals who are committed to facilitating the success of the individuals we serve and will help build programming capacity and overall organizational success.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 5 years recruitment or HR experience
· Customer Service or Call Center experience
· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Google Sheets and Outlook
· Strong report writing, presentation development and public speaking skills
· High level of Computer literacy
· Exhibit great attention to detail
Essential Responsibilities
· Collaborate with Community Partners and attend Job Fairs
· Manage organizational training program advertisements
· Ensure recruitment goals are met in all training programs
· Conduct phone interviews and schedule candidates for next steps
· Assist with online applications and corporate onboarding tasks
· Provide support resources for all program participants
· Work in conjunction with current staff to develop new recruitment strategies
· Produce accurate and timely reporting of program recruitment status
