We are hiring someone to join UPMC Insurance Services Division recruitment team, to work on our Pathways to Work program. This will be a Full-time Contractor role, based in Pittsburgh, PA. UPMC Pathways to Work is a job navigation program that helps set unemployed or underemployed adults on the path toward a rewarding career by connecting them with work opportunities. It also assists those who have intellectual, physical, or behavioral challenges which make it difficult to find or maintain a job.

The position provides a blend of recruitment skills and community outreach for the Human Resources Department in partnership with UPMC Health Plan Social Impact team. This role will involve working with our community partners, outreach to our members and attend recruitment events/information sessions. This position will also develop relationships with our Talent Acquisition team, build talent pipelines, and offer support and guidance to all prospective candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct employment screening interviews for external applicants, of all levels and types of positions, including management.
• Compare candidate qualifications with documented, objective criteria consistent with the job description to refer to our Talent Acquisition team across the organization.
• Act as an advocate to candidates for resume assistance, interview preparation and job navigation.
• Provide feedback and coaching to candidates, members, and community partners.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information received within the guidelines of professional recruitment in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC HS sponsored events, etc.), provide the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities.
