Energy Fencing Inc is Hiring a Project Manager Near Brooklyn, NY

Energy Fencing, a leading full-service fencing company, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Field Estimator. As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of fencing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role necessitates a blend of exceptional communication skills, adept sales proficiency, and a proactive approach to understanding and fulfilling client requirements. As the primary liaison between our company and clients, you'll be instrumental in ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and aligning project objectives with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and schedule site visits for potential fencing projects.
  • Conduct on-site assessments for both residential and commercial properties
  • Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and preferences.

Product Information and Sales:

  • Provide detailed information about Energy Fencing's products, materials, and installation processes.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Energy Fencing and address customer queries.
  • Utilize sales techniques to promote additional services and upsell opportunities.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintain clear and concise communication with customers, ensuring they are informed about the estimation process.
  • Provide regular updates to the sales and project management teams.
  • Follow up with customer

Project Management & Leadership:

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Background in estimating or project management.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work both in the office and in the field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the fencing or construction industry is a plus.
  • Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
