Applicants must live in or near Austin, TX. This is a temporary position that requires in-office attendance; no remote or hybrid options are available for this position.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Shelter Case Manager is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure quality case management services are provided to the service population especially in crisis situations while maintaining compliance with established state and federal standards. Monitors assigned caseload of clients participating in a short-term life management program; establishes program plan/goals and evaluates client's progress by conducting routine meetings with client and/or staff; serves as advocate for client in order to acquire services that will enable them to functionally cope with their environment.
