The ideal IT Systems Manager will have experience of:

• Administering Windows Server / Linux technology
• Administering virtualization Platforms, predominantly Hyper-V
• Supporting highly available SQL Solutions
• Supporting Microsoft Office365 / SharePoint / AD
• Administering Cloud and Cloud-Stack infrastructure (strong expertise in Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform)
• Administering Quest AppAssure or similar backup and recovery systems
• Supporting Data-warehousing and storage technology (SAN / NAS / Software Defined)
• Administering IT Automation management technology (e.g. System Centre Operations Manager)
• Supporting Software Configuration Management (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
• Supporting OpenStack or similar cloud management and orchestration platforms
• Undertaking IT security audits on periodic basis
• Desirable: Knowledge of delivering secure services for Renewable energy, Energy and Utility or Manufacturing companies, Any skills in SDN (e.g. NSX), skills in scripting / programming, VM Ware, Fortinet, Cisco, good working knowledge of ISO27001, ITIL foundation.

Qualifications:

• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT / Infrastructure leadership roles, with strong technical skills in LAN/WAN, VLAN, and storage systems, network support, 5 years experience in data center operations, 5years experience in deploying cloud data center and operations,
• Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and system change control, with outstanding communication skills from technical detail to business functions.
• Proven capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience in implementing and troubleshooting networked shop floor control systems.
• Familiarity with Rockwell CPwE design principles and certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP).
• Aptitude for evaluating and integrating emerging technologies to optimize business processes.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science / computer engineering.
