What you’ll do…
Enchanted Rock is looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful local Field Service Coordinator to assume responsibilities of work planning, scheduling, coordination and additional duties as needed in Houston, Texas. The Field Service Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations and Maintenance Field Services.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Manage, maintain, and interface with field service operations regarding work order management and asset availability including but not limited to, creation, closure, data entry and reporting.
- Interface with field service operations to manage and ensure all planned maintenance activities are being performed in alignment with contractual obligations.
- Interface and manage with field service operations on Data reporting.
- Responsible for ensuring that materials are procured, and delivery aligned with field service schedule and objectives by working with purchasing, inventory, and shop personnel.
- Responsible for managing unique customer contractual requirements as needed.
- Interface with engineering in project development and completion.
- Prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance schedule/ plans daily using CMMS, adjusting as new issues arise.
- Interfaces with Enchanted Rock Operations to ensure maintenance schedules align with market conditions and provides recommendations on timing of maintenance.
- Coordinates with regional management including scheduling, route planning, and forecasting.
- Audit work orders, part, and materials documentation
- Verify requested work matches descriptions of work performed.
- Communicate any discrepancies with submitted work orders to regional management.
- Assists in developing and refining processes across the organization.
- Recommends best practices relating to operations and maintenance.
- Works with contractors/third parties and ensures they comply with Enchanted Rock’s work policies.
- Learns and utilizes manufacturers’ service manuals.
- Creates and maintains maintenance tracking process in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and industry accepted best practices.
- Ensures safe work practices by reinforcing company and industry standards.
- Communicate work status and parts order status clearly to the Director of Operations & Maintenance
- Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have:
- Power plant experience in scheduling, planning or outage management.
- Experience in Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle power plants, and mobile power generation equipment
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or commiserate experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Solid knowledge of data analysis, business system software, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft programs such as, but not limited to, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other database related programs.
- An analytical mind with strong attention to detail and business acumen.
- Outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of power generating or industrial equipment and technologies
- Strong leadership/management/communication skills
- Strong organizational/prioritizing skills
- Ability to make significant independent judgments.
- Required to have eyesight corrected at 20/40 to accurately read and interpret such as but not limited to instruments, gauges, and manuals
- Must be physically capable of wearing protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to fall protection equipment, hardhat, safety shoes, safety glasses etc.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and work against deadlines.
- Communicates well with colleagues and customers.
- Able to demonstrate and present an elevated level of professionalism and organization.
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with other business units.
- Must be open to training, direction, and constant learning and improvement.
