Employers Options is seeking a Digital Outreach Specialist to recruit and enroll low-income households in the Affordable Connectivity Program; order and set-up tablets and provide training to maximize access to broadband in qualified households.

Job Description:

• Conduct outreach to low-income communities to identify and enroll eligible households.
• Assist applicants with completing applications and submitting required documents.
• Review, approve and process online applications.
• Ensure applications are complete and processed in a timely manner.
• Notify applicants of the award and schedule a training date.
• Collect and compile data and complete reports as needed.
• Receive and disseminate information of interest and/or importance to client.
• Refer applicant to other MEO services as appropriate.
• Maintain a high level of customer service ensuring that client’s needs are met.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Cooperative team player and a desire to help others; Ability to conduct community-wide outreach and communicate in an effective manner.
• Working knowledge of community relations and customer service.
• Knowledge and application of proper telephone etiquette.
• Organized, detail, and tasks oriented.
• Basic typing skills and the ability to use standard office machines.
• Ability to work varied shifts, which may occasionally include nights and weekends.
