Your Role: Shaping Project Success As a Heavy Civil Grading Superintendent at Emery Sapp & Sons, you will oversee and manage all on-site construction activities related to grading operations. Your leadership will ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety, quality, and timeline standards. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all on-site grading operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyze project performance metrics, including cost, schedule, and quality. Identify and mitigate project risks effectively. Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in grading operations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational education preferred. 7 years of experience in construction and heavy civil industry, including superintendent or foreman experience. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Thorough knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
