The Medical Billing Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily activities of the Billing Department.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Print, Match, Sign and Mail HCFs
• Call hospitals for information tobill out claims
• Send out Physician Certification ofMedical Necessity requests
• Send out patient signature requests
• Communicate with Clients to obtain missinginformation needed to send out claims
• Bill Treated Not Transported (TNT) claims
• Other job-related duties as assigned 

KNOWLEDGE ANDEXPERIENCE

• EMS/Ambulance medical billing office experience a plus
• HS diploma/GED required
• Detail oriented
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Professional phone skills
