Emergent Holdings Career Section is Hiring a Human Resources Talent Process Consultant Near Southfield, MI

Responsible for partnering with the HR Business Partners, providing support so there is a consistent, calibrated understanding and execution of the Enterprise talent strategy. This includes managing planning initiatives and delivery of processes and analyses for Enterprise consistency.

  • Participate in the development and execution of company-wide strategic talent management processes such as performance management, succession planning, talent reviews and talent summits, working directly with HR leaders, HR Business Partners, and business leadership.
  • Responsible for supporting goal setting, ongoing feedback, and performance review activities through the development of plans and tactics to educate and reinforce key concepts.
  • Using a variety of inputs, responsible for recommending and implementing talent management process enhancements.
  • Develop presentations and provide input into dashboards on talent strategies for all levels of the organization to align, educate, or measure progress against key measures including retention and development of identified top talent.
  • Work in close collaboration with culture and learning development, inclusion and diversity and Human Resources Business Partners to share identified talent gaps and plan for solutions to address gaps. 
  • Create deliverables including written communications, presentations, and analyses.
  • Serve as a key resource and thought partner to enable successful implementation of talent management strategies.
  • Remain current on best practices and emerging talent trends to ensure that competition and changes in the market are considered in concert with strategic talent plans and/or for potential improvements to our process.
  • Actively support HRBP in the execution of talent planning processes to ensure consistency and alignment.

DIRECTION EXERCISED

Directly supervises exempt and non-exempt staff in accordance with company policies and applicable Federal and State Laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to effectively interviewing, hiring, terminating, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; supporting and encouraging the engagement process.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational and Industrial Psychology or related field required. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Five (5) years of Human Resources Talent Management experience, including progressive multi-faceted experience evaluating and planning strategies to solve management and business problems, including developing operational and strategic plans required.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of corporate organizational structures, including functional responsibilities.
  • Ability to interface and present to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation creation and delivery skills with ability to summarize difficult concepts to corporate level presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand business needs and conceptualize solutions.
  • Ability to develop operational and strategic plans. 
  • Work with minimum supervision and exercise sufficient discretion and independent judgment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards. Travel may be required.

Pay Range - Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate’s skills and professional experience, geographic location, market, and other potential factors. It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $79,300 and $132,800.
