Emerald is seeking a Sales Director to lead the strategic direction and management of sales for NY NOW, the largest home and gift wholesale tradeshow. Our Sales team drives NYNOW forward by bringing in thousands of new brands to every show, while maintaining relationships with existing brands and partners. The team consists of Sales Development Representatives, Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers.
Reporting directly to our Brand Leader, our Sales Director will lead the strategic direction and management of the sales engine to fine-tune, optimize, scale and successfully help NYNOW meet its short and long term objectives. This leadership role will define the vision for how our Sales team operates and functions daily, and execute the plan to make it happen. The Sales Director will learn from our existing team, draw from extensive tradeshow experience and success, and bring new perspectives and solutions to enable exponential growth.
The ideal candidate for the Sales Director will have proven experience using a data-driven approach to making decisions and setting a clear strategy and operating plan for our sales team to hit ambitious revenue goals. This role will be best suited for someone who is a builder who enjoys reimagining process, systems and structures.
