HVAC Dispatcher

We are an established construction firm seeking a full time HVAC Dispatcher who has experience handling phones, business correspondence, office equipment, and assisting co-workers with varied tasks. The successful individual in this position will be professional, able to learn quickly, is technologically proficient, adapts to a varied workflow and can take and follow directions from multiple co-workers. Additionally, the preferred candidate will possess the following basic personal attributes:

1. Exceptional organizational and customer service skills

2. Excellent telephone and communication skills (verbal and written);

3. Ability to multitask and prioritize work appropriately

4. Ability to work independently and meet deadline

5. Positive, Can-Do attitude

Skill Requirement for HVAC Dispatcher Position

6. HVAC experience desired

7. Comfortable with learning new software programs

8. Operation of office machines (copiers, printers, telephones – training provided);

9. Some data base program experience and accurate data entry skills;

10. Must be eligible for over time during busy seasons.

Job Description and Responsibilities of the HVAC Dispatcher Position

· Schedule and dispatch workers to appropriate locations using our software, email and phones

· Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, follow up calls

· Answer customer questions or resolve customer complaints

· Process Maintenance Agreements

· Submit Repair Proposals to customers

· Order parts for repairs

· Keep customers and technicians aware of status of orders and scheduling changes.

· Collect on occasion past due customer accounts

· Maintain customer information in data base

· Filing and other miscellaneous clerical duties
