Essential Functions :
Responsible for the efficient operation of Mail Center workflow (inbound and outbound) and supervision of team, ensuring team members meet all customer requests according to deadlines.
Provides knowledge and expertise to all locations for USPS related activities including forwarding, hardware, and software.
Coordinates complex mailings and distribution projects.
Acts as the USPS Enterprise Payment System Administrator for the entire company.
Establishes reports for KPI development and other cost or time saving adjustments.
Researches, analyzes, and recommends new applications, equipment, and processes based on cost savings, efficiencies, and impacted procedures findings.
Oversees and monitors the workload and performance of the team
Collaborates with team members to establish KPIs, performance goals, and monitors.
Evaluates, develops, and manages processes and procedures to ensure inbound and outbound mail is received, sorted, distributed, and digitally sent throughout the organization utilizing routing and scanning software.
Monitors and processes postal service feed and activity for all locations via centralized USPS EPS (Enterprise Payment System)
Serves as subject matter expert for postage equipment operations, recommendations, software applications, technical machines troubleshooting, postal compliance, and service agreements
Creates and assigns cross training to ensure minimal disruption to mail service
Acts as support system for essential automated machine operations as needed
Ensures all daily deadlines are communicated and assigned to appropriate team members
Education & Experience :
The education and experience below are required for the job unless labelled as preferred :
Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent relevant experience
Five years of experience in a mail center or related experience
Prior leadership experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
Strong knowledge of computer programs, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong problem-solving and research abilities
Excellent human relations and customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including grammar, proofreading, and spelling skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
Ability to improve operational efficiency preferred
