Technical Lead

Job Summary

Tech Leads develops solutions and resolves complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expert support and project supervision. They work closely with their design and product teammates to prioritize a backlog of customer features and technical investments. To deliver ambitious features of the highest quality, Tech Leads seek and destroy blockers to daily progress and help their team maintain a laser focus on its sprint goal. To support their team’s continuous improvement, tech leads measure what matters most and lead blameless retros that convert insights into action.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
• Help your team stay focused, energized and unblocked.
• Lead your team to ship one or two ambitious projects.
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
• Help author your team’s strategic roadmap and influence company strategy.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering or software development.
• Experience working in the data center or cloud-computing environment.
• Strong project management skills to ensure the whole team is on track throughout the sprint and can sustainably deliver high-quality work.
• Strong technical skills and deep pattern recognition that informs accurate scoping and the ability to propose several routes to accomplish business goals.
• A keen eye for simple, powerful, high-leverage implementation
• Track record of ownership for team-scale execution and technical excellence.
• Clear, inclusive communication with both teammates and non-technical partners
