Embark's Stabilization and Assessment program is a residential treatment center dedicated to highly acute adolescents. The program specializes in the stabilization and assessment of adolescent boys ages 12 to 17 and their families. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Southern Utah and Zion's National Park, our campus in Hurricane, Utah, provides more than just treatment – we offer a warm, home-like atmosphere!

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Monthly inspections of all buildings
• Respond to all work orders
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors when needed
• Obtain DEQ certification and perform monthly, quarterly, annual water tests
• Assist Maintenance supervisor, Director of Operations, Executive Director as needed in projects
• Maintain and fill water softener
• Learn and complete generator checks
• Maintain and grade driveway
• Campus upkeep in all seasons
• Remodel work, carpentry, painting, and other projects as they relate to improving campus aesthetic
• Completing a written Work Order and submitting it to the Director of Operations and Executive Director when you notice property or equipment in need of maintenance or repair.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements for position:

High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience

Valid Utah Driver's License required

Previous maintenance work and certifications are a plus

Lines of Authority:

Maintenance team member will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor

Training Requirements:

Must maintain current First Aid and CPR

Must attend monthly All Staff meetings

Must read Policies and Procedure, Employee Manual, Client Handbook, and Orientation Materials.

Physical Demands of the Position:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs., climb ladders in a safe manner, be around and are knowledgeable of a variety of power equipment and tool usage.
