POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Maintenance Tech, you’ll keep our facility in tip-top shape. Maintenance Techs use their Maintenance Skills and can-do spirit to guarantee each our facility is beautiful and inviting for students, staff, and guests alike.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Cinnamon Hills is looking for two facilities maintenance staff to work under the direction of our Maintenance Manager and Program Director to keep the landscape and gardens green and lush, maintain the physical facilities in tip-top shape, and timely complete assigned tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance, including, but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs as needed.
• Performs plumbing maintenance such as sprinkler, pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, and showers.
• Replaces breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards.
• Complete repairs on interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting.
• Clean, maintain, and repair landscape and parking areas, so that it is an attractive environment for staff, Students, and Cinnamon Hills' guests.
• Clean and inspect in building systems and report issues to your supervisor.
• Respond to work orders for repairs on the grounds, offices, and student areas.
• Follow directions on, and timely complete assigned tasks, while reporting on the progress of assigned tasks.
• Follow the Program Structure and uphold the rules of the program.
• Responsible for other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on your feet for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to work on ladders as needed.
• Continual lifting up to 75 pounds on a regular basis required.
• Pass a Background Check.
• Pass a Drug Screening.
• TB Screening.
• Must have a valid UT driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
