We are seeking an Internal Estimator with exceptional self-awareness and accountability. You will be responsible for creating accurate estimates for residential restoration projects and address any discrepancies with insurance adjusters. To ensure success, you will be leveraging your in-depth knowledge of materials, labor, building codes and construction best practices. While we prefer candidates with experience and knowledge in construction and Xactimate, we welcome candidates who demonstrate potential for growth and development in these areas. For the right candidate, we are willing to provide the necessary training and resources to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

 Create estimates in Xactimate based on photographs, supplier bids, building codes, and best practices in construction to ensure the quality of work meets high standards.

 Identify discrepancies, negotiate, and reconcile supplements with insurance adjusters to secure accurate scope and pricing for each project.

 Manage a pipeline effectively to meet the company's standard lead times and profit margins.

 Collaborate and communicate with sales representatives and production team members to problem-solve when necessary.

 Update the customer relationship management system (CRM) for each customer account based on interactions, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications & Skills:

 High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

 Preference for candidates with a strong understanding of residential construction processes.

 Experience with Xactimate or other estimating software is preferred.

 Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with self-awareness and accountability.

 Excellent problem-solving skills, along with a proactive mindset.

 Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 Capable to engage in difficult conversations with insurance companies and negotiate estimates.

 Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment within a top-tier company.
