Elyon International is Hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer Near Olympia, WA

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by conducting Data Integration testing, developing test plans, test cases, test strategies, and providing consolidated test reports to stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all development tasks and milestones meet quality criteria through efficient test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Data Integration testing to ensure the seamless integration of data across different systems and platforms.

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies based on project requirements and specifications.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements, and acceptance criteria.

Execute test cases and scenarios to identify defects, bugs, and issues in software applications.

Document and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Analyze test results and provide consolidated test reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.

Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings to provide input on testability and quality aspects.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices, techniques, and tools for software testing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing, with a focus on Data Integration testing.

Proficiency in test planning, test case development, test strategy formulation, and consolidated test reporting.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, HP ALM).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) is a plus.
