ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assists Project Manager in creating and managing job schedules, preconstruction reviews, material procurement, and subcontractor payments
• Assists in maintenance of job budgets and variance management
• Assists Project Manager with change order review and documentation
• Assists Superintendent to develop logistics planning for projects to facilitate safety, construction operations, material delivery and jobsite security
• Assists with quality control inspections and documentation
• Assists with punch inspections and documentation
• Assists with safety walks and documentation
• Assists Project Manager with review/mark-up of submittals and management of workflow through ProCore
• Assists Project Manager/Superintendent with documentation of RFI's and management of workflow through ProCore
• Assists Project Manager with review and documentation of subcontractor change orders and preparation of owner change orders
• Attend project meetings with appropriate members of the project team and ensure meeting agendas and minutes are produced and distributed to all necessary parties
• Assists to ensure all contract project files are set up properly and reporting is timely and accurate
• Ensures complete inventory of documents, distributes plans, specifications and all other pertinent documents to subcontractors and ensures subcontractor information needs are met
• Assists in issueing bid invitations to subcontractors / vendors
• Assists with analyzing subcontractor and vendor bids
• Assists with preparation of subcontracts and purchase orders
• Develops industry relationships and expands professional network
• Assists with coordination of deliveries to the job site
• Performs additional duties as assigned

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

• S. Degree in a Construction related program is preferred, but not required if there is applicable experience as a substitute

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Frequently sit, stand and walk
• Regularly required to talk or hear
• Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Occasional requirements to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces
• Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel may be required dependent upon specific assignments.
