Ellumen is Hiring a Business Analyst Near Frederick, MD
The successful candidate will assist the Development Team in developing user-level functional requirements (story boards) from higher-level business demands into user stories (functional requirements) – all of which help facilitate the delivery of deployable software in short Sprints.
Position is onsite 3 days/week at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD. US citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance required.
Responsibilities:
- Clearly communicate business needs to a development team through user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Scrum Team meetings to establish Release/Sprint backlogs, resolve impediments, and provide direction on scope of work to be accomplished.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the product development team during the development cycle to ensure the customer needs are being met.
- Review and evaluate work done by development team to ensure proper scope has been met.
- Oversee inventory management, procurement support, equipment accountability, facilities management system, and the integration of interfaces to ordering.
- Help develop solutions to implement and sustain DMLSS/LogiCole at VA Medical Treatment Facilities and outpatient clinics Communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.), and work to influence project/team leaders within and outside of the job function at project/program regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches.Required:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 4 years of related work experience.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and solve complex problems.
- 4 years minimum experience with equipment management Module (Systems Services Module).
- Experience with data conversions.
