Ellison Bakery LLC is Hiring a Mixer Operator - 2nd Shift/3rd Shift (FT) Near Fort Wayne, IN
- $17.00 per hour is the Training Pay Rate - After training and moving to shift $20.00 per hour
- Experience Required
- $1.00/hr. - 2nd shift - Hours 3:30 pm to Midnight
- $2.00/hr. - 3rd Shift - Hours 11:30 pm to 8:00 am
- Monday - Friday/8 hours shift
- Some weekends may be required
- Training hours are on the 1st shift/7:30 am to 4:00 pm for about 4 weeks - no shift differential

The mixer is responsible for correctly blending together all of the necessary raw materials in a timely manner to help deliver a finished product that is not only safe to eat but meets all customer and internal specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the daily production schedule and process orders in the established sequence
- Ensure that mixed dough is prepared when needed
- Follow mixing instructions accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work area are maintained in a clean and safe manner
- Accurately and legibly maintain records of batches made, ingredients used, deviations, and other processing parameters
- Monitor automated equipment to verify it is functioning properly
- Follow all:

- Good Manufacturing Practices
- All Food Safety Management System Policies and Procedures
- Sanitation Procedures
- Safety Procedures
- Assist other areas of production as needed
- Effectively communicate all relevant information to other production shifts and employees
- Immediately report any and all food safety and quality problems to management

- High School diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or Food Handling industry knowledge
- Being able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
- Industrial Technical or Machinery experience
