Ellenhorn is Hiring a Program Director Near Arlington, TX

Description:

The Program Director role is the most important and varied role in this start-up company. The

person in this role must be able to manage their time well, take on multiple projects,

communicate seamlessly with both the executive team and with clients and staff, all while

having a passion for metabolic psychiatry. The potential for this role to grow is immense, and

the person in it should be energized and excited to enter this new field, and learn and grow in

it with the executive team at their side.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to create detailed program plans. This includes deadlines, milestones, processes, and risk mitigation protocols.
  • Hiring and supervising all staff.
  • Working as Primary Clinician/Case manager for up to 5 clients at a time including admission, ongoing care, and discharge planning.
  • Take admissions calls and conduct evaluations.
  • Make admissions decisions and protocols with executive team.
  • Create and edit protocols in concert with the executive team.
  • Work with leadership to set strategic goals and objectives for programs.
  • Discuss and coordinate all building maintenance with responsible parties.
  • Self-educate and coordinate trainings for employees.
  • Attend marketing events as needed.
  • Project management in numerous areas for start-up business needs.
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management principles when needed.
  • Report detailed status updates to leadership and executive team.
  • Work with IT professional and executive team to create and teach staff about EMR.
  • Develop or approve budgets and operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record as a successful program director, program manager, or project manager
  • Experience managing teams through complex programs
  • Knowledge of current program management methods and best practices
  • Experience managing staff and budgets
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 3 years related experience, with progressive responsibility in program management
  • Experience managing budgets for multiple projects
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical area.
  • Active clinical license or working towards license required.
