Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team. As the Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

This person would Set work schedules and then directs employees in the repair of all types of motor vehicles and equipment ensuring repair parts are available, quality of work is acceptable and tracking programs are kept up to date.

Competencies Required

1. Must have as a minimum a valid (active) Class A CDL United States driver’s license.

2. Must have minimum of three years mechanic/manager experience with knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices of the automotive/diesel mechanic’s trade.

3. Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing with a minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Special Requirements:

1. Must have good motor vehicle driving record.

2. Must be flexible to work either night time or day time.

3. Must be available to travel out of town for extended periods of time by vehicle or plane for equipment breakdowns.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of workers, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
- Review project plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and feasibility
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for projects
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Shop Supervisor or Lead Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of mechanic processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
