Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for dentistry and a desire to make a positive impact on patients' oral health.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical documentation systems such as Epic
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient education
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow in the office
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting payments

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- X-Ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA regulations
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical documentation systems such as Epic or similar systems
