Dental Assistant Position Overview:
ProHealth Staffing is seeking a Dental Assistant for one of our partner clinics in the Central Los Angeles area, located in the diverse and vibrant Westlake/MacArthur Park area. The clinic is a vital resource in the area, offering exceptional dental services to underserved communities. What We Offer for our Dental Assistant Position:
- Location: Central Los Angeles – making a difference in a vibrant community.
- Salary: Starting at $20/hr., with potential increases based on performance evaluations.

- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM – your weekends are free.
Dental Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during various procedures, manage impressions, and fluoride treatments.
- Handle and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) for precise patient diagnosis.
- Sterilize dental instruments and ensure preparation for treatments.
- Provide oral hygiene education to our diverse patient base in English and Spanish.
- Conduct temporary restorative procedures like fitting crowns or fillings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental operatory.
Dental Assistant Qualifications:
- Required Dental Assistant certification with a minimum of 1-year experience.
- Must have recent Dental Assistant experience (within the last six months).
- Skilled in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Must possess a current X-Ray Dental Certificate and CPR certification.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Current and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations required.
