Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and take messages/return patient phone calls as directed by provider in timely manner.
- Process referrals and prior authorization requests.
- Document and maintain records of verbal and written procedures, medication, and pertinent information regarding patient care.
- Obtain and record patients' vital signs.
- Prepare exam rooms, clean and stock exam rooms.
- Assist providers in performing procedures.
- Perform sterilization of instruments.
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Medical Assistant (Certified or Registered).
- EHR knowledge.
- 1 year of healthcare experience.
