Job Summary: Marketing Copy Writer

Elite Lighting, a leader in lighting manufacturing and distribution, has an immediate need for a copywriter. We are looking for a creative Copywriterto write clear and concise copies for ads, publications and websites. Your words will inform and engage target audiences. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, patient, has a clear and concise communication capacity (both written and verbal), and is a skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities are included, but not limited to:

• Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters).
• Conducting thorough research on the latest lighting technology and how our products measure in relation to the industry.
• Working with creative professionals to build marketing projects and campaigns.
• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice.
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages).
• Conduct high-quality research and interviews.
• Edit and proofread copy as needed.
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
• Source images and other content Requirements.
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.

Qualifications:

1. Associates/BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field.

2. 3 years' proven experience as a copywriter or related role.

3. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

4. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

5. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

6. Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.

7. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.

8. Strong research skills.

9. Creativity.

10. Collaborative spirit.

11. Experience with SEO.

12. Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
