The Accountant is responsible for accounting, financial record keeping, and overseeing the everyday financials of the organization. This includes creating and maintaining a budget, a weekly financial update of estimated profit, and creating all commission disbursements with the team. To be successful in this role, you must be a proactive self-starter, extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast, high-volume without becoming flustered.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly Profit Report to Directors
• Create and maintain a Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Budget
• Maintains system to track all agent commission splits and creates all commission disbursements
• Maintaining Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Maintains a profit-first model for the organization
• Strategize and create a plan to improve overall financials of the organization
• Establish Sponsorship and strategic alliances
• Systemize the financial tracking and system
• Creates a monthly close out system
• Assists in the review and evaluation of financial accounting/ administration and internal control processes and procedures
• Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with the attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and work at a fast pace
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills will be required to succeed at a high level in this role
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships and influence at a local level and across a broad organization
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Analytical thinker who can prioritize their time
• Self-motivated to learn and grow in a challenging industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
