Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at an Homeowners Association job site. In this role you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and safety of the community's residents and guests at the community swimming pool. Your primary role will be working the pool as a pool monitor. You will join a team of professionals and will be required to adhere to company policies and policies of the client.. You will also be required to provide excellent customer service, and maintain a secure environment.

Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current BSIS Guard Card 
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum 2 years security experience (private/public sector) or 3 year of customer service
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Qualifications:

• Must have experience with computer and mobile applications
• Professional in both appearance and demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Able to perform normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to strenuous physical exertions, such as: Standing, sitting or walking for an entire shift, Lifting or carrying objects weighing up to thirty (30) pounds, Able to open and close latches, zippers, doors, fences/gates, and screw caps, Write Daily Reports and other reporting along with possible pictures of the post.

Responsibilities

• Must interact with the public in a direct professional manner.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all patrons.
• Monitor pool activity and maintain constant vigilance to prevent accidents and enforce safety protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the pool area and its surroundings.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents, including providing first aid and contacting emergency services if necessary.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patrons and address any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.
• Check in residents to assure they are authorized to use the pool.
• Check the pool area for glass items including food and or trash.
• Ensure Residents are in compliance with pool rules.
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence in swimming pool area. 
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Proven experience as security officer or pool monitor
• Familiarity with report writing and/or documentation
• Excellent observation skills
• Excellent communication / customer service skills
