Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at an Homeowners Association job site. In this role you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and safety of the community's residents, property, and assets. You will join a team of security officers and will be required to adhere to company policies and policies of the HOA community. You will also be required to provide excellent customer service, and maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

Security Operations:

• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures specific to the gated community.

• Conduct regular patrols and security checks to identify and address concerns.

• Respond to security incidents, emergencies and monitor CCTV and other video monitoring systems.

• Issue Citations to include parking, traffic and CCR rule violations for the HOA.

• Ensure that all security equipment and technology are maintained and operational.

Customer Service:

• Foster positive relationships with residents, HOA board members and visitors by providing excellent customer service.

• Address resident inquiries, concerns and requests in a. professional manner.

• Act as point of contact for residents regarding security-related matters.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, activities and daily logs.

• Prepare incident reports, security reports and other documentation as required.

• Communicate security updates and incident reports to the Elite Defense Security Solutions management team.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current BSIS Guard Card

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Able to perform normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to strenuous physical exertions, such as: Standing, sitting or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs and ladders, Lifting or carrying objects weighing up to thirty (30) pounds, Able to open and close latches, zippers, doors, fences/gates, and screw caps, Running, jogging, speed walk short distances, Reaching above the head and Bending to the floor.
