Job Title: Plumber
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety procedures, as well as experience working with a variety of plumbing equipment and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Install and connect pipes and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and showers
- Test plumbing systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and meet safety standards
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and make necessary repairs
- Install and maintain water heaters and other plumbing-related appliances
- Follow all plumbing codes, regulations, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other trades to coordinate installations and repairs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and climb ladders
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
