Elit Builders is Hiring a Tiler Near Oakland, FL
- Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces, including cutting and shaping tiles as needed
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them
- Apply adhesive and grout to tiles to secure them to surfaces
- Follow tiling patterns and designs as specified by blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific dimensions and shapes
- Install and repair tile underlayment, such as cement board and backer board
- Follow all tiling codes, regulations, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other trades to coordinate installations and repairs
- Completion of a tiling apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a tiler
- Knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, codes, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and climb ladders
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
