Job Description
**Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite in Washington, DC.**Our government client is looking for a Senior PKI Engineer to join their team.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $65.00 - $72.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
Responsibilities of the Senior PKI Engineer:
- Support existing server infrastructure in a 24x7 on-call escalation capacity as part of a team rotation
- Research, evaluate, and provide solution recommendations for refresh of current PKI capability and opportunities for enhancements
- Support engineering, design, implementation, and operations support of PKI-solution
- Serve as escalation point for PKI and active directory support and troubleshooting
- Provide guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems
- Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems
- Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation
- Create and maintain system documentation for domain and PKI technologies
- Perform daily system monitoring
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 7 years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment
- Expert level experience with Active Directory architecture and management
- Expert level experience with PKI, PIV cards, Smart Cards
- Expert level experience with Multi-Factor Authentication- Active Directory Federation Services, SAML, SSO
- Expert level experience in creating, administering, and troubleshooting Group Policies
- Expert level experience with Windows Certificates Services Management
- Expert level experience with Distributed File System including both DFS-N, and DFS-R
- Senior level experience with PowerShell and VBScript
- Mid-level experience with Windows Server Operating Systems (2012 R2 to 2019)
- Mid-level experience developing security standards and controls per DISA STIGS and CISA requirements
- Mid-level experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V Virtualization
