Job Title: Senior Java Support Engineer

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Java Support responsibilities include debugging and developing/troubleshooting a solution for our in-house application.
- Candidate will be interacting with our clients all over the globe on need basis.
- Debug the code and perform Root Cause Analysis.
- Understand the code flow and application functions.
- Understand the points/replication steps given by the L1 team.
- Correct the existing code if required which should be well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Work in collaboration with the Integration team for any fixes/enhancements required in the code.
- Attend daily Scrum, collaborate with technical product team, and complete assigned tasks.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
- SLA adherence with respect to keeping clients happy.
- Should be an excellent team player and should be able to take responsibility for the ticket.
- Collaborate effectively across teams.
- 5 years of experience in Software/Application support with core Java.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming in Java.
- Familiarity with concepts of RESTful APIs and knowledge of API utilities such as cURL and Postman.
- Proficient with use of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Should be excellent in Java development and debugging.
- Proven working experience in core Java development.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Proven hands-on experience in L3 support and core Java development.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, strong problem-solving skills.
- Critical thinker.
- Good time-management skills
