Our government client is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or PermanentResident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $76.00 - $81.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Engineer:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IPv6 strategy for a multi-cloud environment
• Implement advanced security measures for IPv6 networks
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of IPv6 networking solutions
• Management and administration of cloud networking components
• Provide technical guidance to Cloud team members and Modal partners of implementation of IPv6 networking in cloud environments

Requirements of the Senior Cloud Engineer:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 7 years of experience with cloud network technologies
• At least 3 years of related experience designing, planning and integrating cloud computing systems
• Hands-on experience managing dual-stack networks
• Strong knowledge of IPv6 addressing, routing, and subnetting
• Intermediate knowledge of at least one Infrastructure-as-Code tool
• In-depth understanding of network security principles and practices
• Familiarity with NAT64 and DNS64 translation services
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification OR Azure Networking Engineer certification
• Possess a Foundational level certification from a Cloud Provider
