We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Superintendent of Schools - Executive Director for our Alternative Charter High School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the network's operations, with a primary focus on fostering academic rigor, sustainable growth, and cultivating a positive and supportive high school culture for both students and staff. The district includes Eastpointe High School, Accelerated Learning Center, and Elevated Academy. This position requires a seasoned administrator with a proven track record in top leadership roles, particularly in driving enrollment growth and building a culture of care within educational institutions.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Alternative Charter High School District, aligning with the organization's mission and goals.
• Provide inspirational leadership to guide and motivate staff toward achieving academic excellence, enrollment growth, and a positive school culture.

Enrollment Growth:

• Develop and execute comprehensive enrollment strategies to attract and retain students who would benefit from the alternative educational approach provided by our schools.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective enrollment campaigns and outreach initiatives.

Academic Rigor and Innovation:

• Foster a culture of academic rigor, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the network.
• Collaborate with school leaders and educators to enhance curriculum, instructional practices, and educational programs to meet the needs of diverse student populations.

Positive School Culture:

• Cultivate a positive and inclusive school culture of care that prioritizes the well-being and success of both students and staff.
• Implement initiatives that promote a safe, supportive, and collaborative learning environment.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of school management.
• Work closely with school leaders and administrative teams to address operational challenges and implement solutions.

Community Engagement:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, community leaders, and educational stakeholders.
• Act as a representative and advocate for the Alternative Charter High School District in various community forums.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in education or a related field.
• Proven experience in a top administrative position within the education sector.
• Demonstrated success in driving enrollment growth and improving academic outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower teams.
• Experience in creating and fostering a positive school culture of care for both staff and students.
