Job Description:

We seek a dedicated and experienced Business Office Manager to join our team. The Business Office Manager will oversee the financial and administrative aspects of our nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service to residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and resident billing.
• Maintain resident financial records and handle inquiries from residents and their families regarding billing and payments.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and government agencies to ensure compliance with billing and reimbursement regulations.
• Collaborate with other department heads to support the overall operation of the nursing home facility.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations related to healthcare billing and reimbursement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing home facilities is preferred.
