Assistant Manager/Team Lead Job Description:
- Opening and closing the restaurant.
- Greeting guests as they enter, and providing the highest level of customer service as possible.
- Answering any initial questions.
- Training and assisting new staff members.
- Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
- Helping schedule shifts, to provide the best customer service possible.
- Resolving customers' questions in a professional manner.
- Ensures that the restaurant is following company policies and adhering to health & food safety regulations.
- Purchasing new ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment as stock is damaged or depleted.
- Helping staff follow a detailed checklist that entails good open and close.
- Help record income and expenses.
- Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with the service.
- Knowledge of restaurants in the building.
Assistant Restaurant Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a restaurant.
- Prior experience using.
- Strong leadership skills with an affinity for capacity development.
- Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
- Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
