Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- ServeSafe food handling certification is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of techniques for Drip coffee, Expresso Bar, Pastry stations, coffee grinding and brewing equipment, POS operation and Credit Card machine transactions.
- At least 12 months of proven experience working as a Barista is required
- Able to work in a continuously standing position for five or more hours
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Ability to work shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Working smartphone for our app access.
- Eligible to work in the US.
- Bring a vibrant professional energy to all customers and staff.
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages like, juices, tea, coffee, smoothies and handle take-a-way food.
- Maintain clean equipment, supplies and workspaces.
- Manage cashier’s responsibilities including but not limited to: completing customer transactions, greeting customers, answering inquiries, etc.
- Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products.
- Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items
- Efficiently resolving problems with customers’ orders in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed by cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas on a regular basis
- Paid weekly.
