Summary

The Engineering Services Manager is responsible for ensuring projects and technical team remain on track and work is completed by their designated deadlines. This position is responsible for communicating with all technical resources and stakeholders through the course of the project. The Engineering Services Supervisor assesses risks and develops strategies in order to provide effective Project Management Services to clients. 

Primary Responsibilities

• ​​Manage and execute the projects assigned to technical team. 
• ​Adhere to the client’s appropriate project management methodology, which includes all identified deliverables required to execute a project. 
• ​Maintain schedule, scope, risks/issues, and provide status reports to internal and external management. 
• ​Closely monitor each project to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay on budget, and progress according to plan. 
• ​Provide timely and effective status updates and additional needed communication to all stakeholders of the project. 
• ​Schedule and conduct project meetings to communicate project expectations and deliverables, and ensure the project team has the tools and resources to complete the project. 
• ​Ensure client is satisfied with the progress and end results of the project. 
• ​Assess and mitigate any risks, issues and blockers; escalate appropriately.
• ​Work cohesively with Project Management Team to gain consistencies across all awarded projects. 
• ​Outline the labor resources and material resources required to successfully complete each project.​

Education and Work Experience

• ​​5-7 years Project Management experience supporting IT/OT projects 
• ​Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT or Technology with 4 years’ experience​ 

Physical Requirements

​​Work is typically performed in an environment, using simple, easy muscular movements, involving only the handling of light materials, tools, or equipment in easy work positions, and with no special speed requirements or long stretches of exertion. Vision requirements for this job include close vision and the ability to focus. Remaining in a stationary position and in front of a computer screen for prolonged periods will be necessary. Repeating motions such as typing, that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers are necessary. ​
