Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate inventory levels and optimizing inventory processes to meet business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory accuracy
- Conduct regular audits of inventory data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment
- Implement category management strategies to effectively organize and classify inventory items
- Oversee materials handling processes to ensure efficient movement of inventory within the warehouse
-Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
-Mantain stock control and reconcile with ERP system.
Experience:
-Ability to multitask
-Valid drivers license. Excellent driving record.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Hands on support to team members.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and their functionalities
- Knowledge of category management principles for effective organization of inventory items
-Bachelor's degree in inventory management, supply chain management, or business administration preferred. Equivalent practical experience in an Inventory Management position will also be considered.
-Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel
