Summary

Responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to fill open positions within Maya Management, LLC and El Rio Grande Latin Market. By building relationships, assessing candidate qualifications, and ensuring an effective recruitment process timely.

Responsibilities:

• Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
• Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meet with managers to discuss needs
• Utilize various recruiting methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals)to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
• Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and experience
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidates fit for specific roles and assess cultural alignment
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates by providing timely communication and updates on applicant status.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates to enhance the candidate experience.
• Partner with the hiring manager to understand the staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate preferences.
• Track recruitment metrics such as candidate quality, and source effectiveness.

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus
• Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role
• Familiar with FLSA, DOL regulations, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, and other government-mandated laws and regulations a plus
• Ability to work with all leadership levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Paycom, ATS, Workday, or other recruitment software systems

• Flexible to travel between corporate office, stores, and hiring events.
• Position is located onsite at El Rio Grande Corporate Office
