Job Description:

El Antojo is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our valued customers, and maintaining

high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee cashiers and kitchen team: Coordinate and supervise the activities of the cashiers and cooks to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience for our guests.

Maintain Cleanliness: Take responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant, including the parking lot, front entrance, and bathrooms. Regularly inspect common areas to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Lead with Excellent Customer Service: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service to all guests. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently, striving to resolve any issues to the customer’s satisfaction.

Work Until Closing: Be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and stay until closing to ensure the smooth running of operations until the end of the business day.

Welcoming guests: Manage the operations, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and seating arrangements to ensure efficient flow and minimize wait times.

Dining Room Management: Oversee the dining room area, cleanliness, and ambiance to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to handling customer inquiries and complaints.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
