Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter.

Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide information on products
- Upsell products and services to customers
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS is a plus
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience in the food industry or grocery store environment is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices is beneficial
- Ability to bus tables when needed
